Dreamy Clouds

I know. You all do this anyway. But, every now and then in KIDFUN, it doesn’t hurt to mention the obvious!

Imagine a lovely morning or afternoon, lying on a blanket, gazing up at the clouds and just dreaming! When was the last time YOU did this? It probably doesn’t hurt to mention it because, really, you could probably count on one hand the times you’ve had the luxury of this kind of relaxation.

Well, do it with the kids … bring out a blanket or a couple large towels, lie down, look up! That’s it. And, then, of course, talk about those dreamy, puffy cloud formations that appear above you. What do they look like to your child? The same idea you had? What’s great about gazing at these dreamy clouds is there is no “right” or “wrong” response. They can be anything you want them to be … maybe it’s a circus train that bobs along above you filled with a lion and a bear, even a tiger!
