Thank You Notes

It’s the day after Thanksgiving and you could extend the whole sentiment of sharing gratitude by having the kids write a thank you note to the host or someone at their Thanksgiving dinner.

But, this is KIDFUN — so, it shouldn’t be a chore. It should be fun — even silly with lots of stickers or an abstract design and a few comments they dictate to you about their Thanksgiving.

Let the kids make up their own ideas of something fun to mail with a thank you message. Have you ever pasted dry pasta noodles on paper? How ’bout sunflower seeds … perhaps you can find cool stuff in the kitchen that would make a collage with a simple THANK YOU. DINNER WAS YUMMY written on the front.

Then be sure to mail it. Put it an envelope with a stamp and go to the post office or a nearby mailbox. It could be the perfect day-after-Thanksgiving project!
