Thank you L.A. Family … and “Wave if You’re Famous!”

I’m taking the luxury of making KIDFUN today a “Thank You” Note to Laura Diamond of L.A. Family Magazine, and to welcome new friends who are readers of this great, helpful magazine filled with tips, activities and interesting articles for families in Los Angeles and, really, everywhere! ( www.familymagazinegroup.com)

KIDFUN is now a part of their new Fun Pages and I’ll be appearing each month. The activity today is “Wave if You’re Famous” with a photo of my granddaughter Ryan Isabella demonstrating this simple tip.  I think I’m even more excited to see Ryan there with me. It’s Page 31 of the Los Angeles edition.

I can’t remember if “Wave if You’re Famous” is on the KIDFUN blog. But, it’s really easy and really fun. Make a sign with these words and have the kids hold it on the window of your car so passersby take a look, smile and even send some waves. Before you know it, the kids will be waving back and smiling at all their new friends and, hopefully, you’ll have arrived quickly at your destination! We got this idea from Blanche Schlessinger years ago. Do you have an idea you’d like to include in KIDFUN? We’d love to hear it and share it.
