Remember that Great Old Standby … FREEZE!

I heard the cutest story yesterday from a woman who told me about her niece who’s “got my heart!” Aunt Stepnie, as Michala calls her, talked about how smart her little niece is, and the example she gave was the game of FREEZE, which is just always fun to play — anywhere. You could be taking a walk and one person shouts FREEZE and that walk is definitely more fun. You could be hanging out at home and do the same thing. It works!

Well, Michala Burgos, 2 1/2, likes to play FREEZE, too, except this clever little girl does it as a tactic. For example, when she played with her grandmother, her grandmother followed directions. She FROZE and Michala ran around and got into some kind of mischief. After all, no one was watching! Aunt Stepnie knew all along her niece had something extra special even when she was just a baby. Imagine how this 2 1/2 year old will be when she’s five! Watch out Aunt Stephnie!

Remember FREEZE … it’s always fun! And, share your family stories, too. There just may be a helpful KIDFUN tip we can share with others.
