Pumpkin Puzzles

With today’s KIDFUN idea, I’m not suggesting you go out buy pumpkin puzzles … but you make them. It’s really easy. All you need is orange and black construction paper. Cut out a pumpkin from the orange paper — using the entire sheet of paper. Then with the black, make lots of little triangles — various shapes, which means don’t worry about anything being perfect. Some can be narrow, some wide — whatever!

That’s it. The black triangles are the pieces. And, they can be the eyes, the nose and, placed side by side in a crescent shape, the mouth.

Have the pumpkins and black triangle pieces laying around on a table and at anyone’s leisure, they put them together. If you have a glue stick, paste them in place and your family can have a collection of these pumpkins … that would look lovely hanging in your window or anywhere throughout the house! Yep, another tip for an easy-to-make Halloween decoration.
