Paint That Shadow

I remember when Sesame Place first opened, they had the coolest thing. It was a shadow wall. You stood in front of a wall, a light went off, you moved but your shadow remained — right there on the wall. Our kids (now moms) loved it. Can you do that? Give your child a bucket of wall and have him paint over a shadow? Make it easy, it at first. Hold up a stick or some object so it makes a shadow on the ground and paint it! Then move the object and the shadow remains. Can he paint YOUR shadow? Can you paint his? Okay, it may not be so easy — but it would be fun trying and, if it’s a really hot day, it really might be much more fun — painting each other! (Of course, it’s just water. It’ll cool you off!)
