Make Connections …

There’s a good chance you could be spending lots of time together on this long weekend … maybe even stuck in line somewhere.

Make Connections. This could mean lots of things. Okay, if you were an adult, you could be chatting with the person nearby and finding you have something in common. Most likely children aren’t engaged in these kind of conversations but you could do this by making connections with your eyes like finding several people who wear glasses. That’s their connection. It’s like playing “I spy,” but it’s “I spy a connection!” Pick categories …. baseball caps, sneakers, jeans! Take turns picking categories and then describe the people who are connected by talking about their clothing or color hair, for example. “I see the lady in the red coat wearing glasses.”

Let’s hope a short round of making connections made that waiting period go quicker and you got to the front of the line before you know it! Plus, you filled the time in a KIDFUN sort of way. Tell us your way. We’d love to share it.
