Have a Silly Party …

Do you have a certain food you and your child love to eat? Is it healthy enough you could make a meal or a snack out of it — even an unexpected snack?? Okay, here goes … true confessions right here.

I just discovered that Ryan, my three-year old granddaughter, loves whipped cream! Me, too! So last night, instead of sharing a treat like ice cream with whipped cream, we forgot the ice cream calories and just made it … whipped cream! Honest!

It was definitely silly and so much fun. We used little plastic cups, got out two spoons — she had the Rainforest Cafe spoon and I had the Tinkerbell spoon (her decision). We sat ON THE SOFA, of all places, with our whipped cream and filled up our cups! It was definitely a party! Okay, being on the sofa using the coffee table may not have been my smartest idea, but it cleaned up just fine! You see, I decided to teach Ryan how to spray the whipped cream using the nozzle on top!

Try your own silly party sometime … it’ll make for a very special memory. And, I bet we do it again and again! Yum!
