Do the Twist …and More of Those Old-Fashioned Dances!

It sure did shock me when Ryan and her parents were playing this game and when they turned the dial it landed on an activity she had to do … and, yep, it was the TWIST! And, she was good! I mean really good! So I thought of some more of those dances my generation did — and actually every generation seems to have their own. It was my mother who did the Charleston but I did the “Swim,” the “Pony”, the “Bristol Stomp” and more. Wouldn’t it be a) great exercise and b) so much fun to take a step back in time with your young kids and see how they do at your dances?? Chubby Checker, how’s your Twist these days?
