Thank YOU … tell your kids, too
This is definitely a sentimental KIDFUN but the other day I got frightening, upsetting news about my good friend’s grandson (oh no, he was diagnosed with leukemia at age 9) and I looked at my family and just thought Thank YOU, each and every one of you. And, well, really, Thank God, we are healthy. And, I realized I need to thank them more for what they bring to my life and I wondered how many of you say Thank YOU to your kids every day for the little things, for the big joyful things, too.
I guess today’s KIDFUN encourages being grateful, no matter what, for having your children in your lives and, I just bet, your gratitude will be a mirror affect. They’ll return gratitude in their own way. Actually, you could make it KIDFUN and count how many times you all say Thank You in one day … keep track. It’s a wonderful score to keep.
