Sitr It Up … Baking Without a Bowl!

There are so many talented, creative people who share their goodness with kids and last night I met one. Her name is Theresa and she owns Enchanted Dreams, a wonderful princess-style play land for a little girl’s birthday party! (How could Ryan be five years old already!)  One of the activities they did together was bake Ryan’s Birthday Cake. But, it was all imaginary. You can do that, too. Anywhere — get out the “bowl”, the “ingredients”s, the big “spoon,” etc., etc. and get the kids mixing the batter, adding secret ingredients (like wishes) and STIRRING IT UP! They went through the entire process with no bowl at all, but lots of energy and fun for the kids. SO, when you need a quick KIDFUN idea to brighten a dull moment, try stirring it up, too. You can make anything — how ’bout a pizza! The kids can add any toppings they like!
