Introducing …. !!!

Ya’ know what I love? No matter how much technology we have, kids love putting on a “show!” It could be one song or a whole production. It’s just plain fun.

And, okay, here’s another Ryan story! Since Ryan’s been two, even younger, I’d announce her and say, “Ladies and gentleman … Introducing Ryan Isabella!” She’d come out from behind a wall or another room, take a bow and dance or sing or something! Somehow the bow came first!

Well, last night we were shopping at BuyBuy Baby, just us girls — Amy (her mom), Hope (her aunt, my other daughter who is pregnant — and having a girl!), Ryan and me! Amy and Hope were busy doing Hope’s registry, and Ryan and I got “stuck” in the rocking chair/glider department. She pulled up a little chair and got comfortable and we realized it looked like a theater. I’d say for about 20 minutes, we put on shows! It was so cute when Ryan said … “Introducing GRAMMY!” …. Even cuter, when she sang me a song, one of my favorites to her, “I’d Do Anything!”

In other words … there’s always an opportunity to have fun by performing, even without a real-live audience!
