Restaurant Tips — Do you have any?

Last night I met old friends sitting at a nearby table at a local restaurant who were sitting with their kids and 2-year-old granddaughter, Rory. When I told them about KIDFUN, they asked about restaurant activities to keep her occupied. What are your favorites? We’d love to know. I know that we usually have little bags of stuff ready to go just for those occasions when we need the kids occupied. I say, “We,” hoping you know the full credit goes to Amy and Hope, my two daughters/moms. What works best for your age child? Is it little notepads and colored pencils for drawing? Is it stickers? How about little animals and dolls for storytelling? Of course, the real trick is what electronic toys do you bring? They always seem to work — just a phone filled with photos and videos are great to pass the time away. Share your ideas and we’d be happy to give you the credit. Happy Dining!
