Halloween Fun — Make Mummies!

Happy Halloween! It’s almost here and, if you’re stuck inside for Halloween celebrating with friends or just your family, here’s an idea that is so much fun. I practically guarantee every age person will end up hysterical from this.

Have you ever wrapped someone up as a Mummy? It’s just so easy — each person gets a ROLL OF TOILET PAPER and is assigned a partner! They wrap each other with toilet paper, leaving space for eyes. Start at the head or the toes and start unraveling the toilet paper all around the person. Fill in every single section, if you can. That’s it — no other supplies, well except for a trash bag to clean up the mess when unwrapping time begins. Oh, by the way, you can do a little tickling along the way.

The first time I did this our friends Ronnie and Larry had the best ever Halloween party. So many fun activities at this … Come-as-a-Broadway-Character Party. We all went to the basement when Ronnie handed us each a role of toilet paper, having no idea how much fun was in store next. I almost forgot until a couple weeks ago, my daughter Amy had a Halloween party for lots of their friends with kids and the video she sent of Ryan and everyone else getting wrapped as mummies, reminded me. On the video, the laughter is loud and clear.

Happy Halloween — hope it’s fun all weekend long!
