Gifts with Purpose … add a Surprise!

I know some kids have wish lists. Some parents have them, too. And, every now and then you decide clothing is the best gift at the time. Just don’t be disappointed if you get a polite “thank you,” and not the enthusiasm of something more interactive. Here’s a trick … KIDFUN Style! If buying clothing, add a surprise inside that shirt or wrap it on the top of the box, something inexpensive, like a flashlight (perhaps a tiny one or a giant one.) Collect “stuff” at the dollar store to add to those boxes of clothes to just add a little more involvement for your child. Stickers work … how about magnets or a magnifying glass? I’m telling you, when least expecting it, you can find very cool things at the dollar store that can turn into an unexpected surprise!
