Find Me!

Here’s a game that works in any season — whether you’re stuck indoors or need a new adventure outdoors. It’s called FIND ME! It was so easy.

We took small pieces of paper — the orange ones in this photo (um, excuse me if it appears blurry!). And, while my husband Barry was sleeping, Ryan thought it would be fun to leave clues how he could find her when he woke up. She needed a little help with spelling, but whether she writes it or you do, it’s a great activity.

Here are examples. These were all Ryan’s ideas … At the table, next to the sofa (where he snoozed!), she wrote  … LOOK WHERE YOU COME IN. In our house, it’s obvious. Then at that spot, she wrote … LOOK WHERE WE EAT DINNER. At the dinner table, she placed another note … LOOK WHERE YOU WATCH TV. At the cocktail table in front of the sofa, was one more note … LOOK WHERE YOU SLEEP!

Funny thing was we kept waiting for Barry to wake up so we could run in the bed … it took awhile! But, try it anywhere — inside or outside, with supervision. It’s all about the clues and being mysterious. KIDFUN, for sure!
