Capture that GIGGLE!

Don’t you love a big fat belly laugh coming from your child? Nothing is better — right? So, think fast and pull out your phone or recorder and savor it. Tape it. How fabulous if THAT could be your ring tone! And, it’s funny to think what makes those moments happen. Something really silly, that’s for sure.

With Ryan, it sometimes surprises me. Well, it’s like having a catch with a ball or any soft object and I drop it! Or when we’re playing chase. Lately, it’s Ryan and me against the dragon — her daddy! Or plain old roughhousing, like Dr. Larry Cohen recommends in his book, “The Art of Roughhousing.” I wonder what tactics he recommends. My son-in-law Scott has it down perfectly. Lie on the ground and wait for Ryan to jump on his belly. (ouch!) This never fails to bring guffaws. (Next time I’ll take out my phone to capture it!)
